About DealerNavi

What is DealerNavi?

DealerNavi is AI-powered guidance for dealership service departments. It sits on top of the screens your team already uses and shows cards from the scheduling screen to the repair order and the final invoice, so employees can catch mistakes and follow manufacturer requirements while the work is still open. Service managers get reports that show what was corrected and where to coach. See it in action.

What makes DealerNavi different?

Where it lives. DealerNavi sits on top of the screens your team already uses and reads what is on them, so guidance appears beside the work while there is still time to act and your team keeps working in the systems it knows. Because it reads the screen, DealerNavi can be programmed to read any DMS or scheduling software.

Who uses DealerNavi?

BDC agents booking appointments, service advisors writing repair orders, and the service managers who coach them. Cards also cover warranty claim preparation and a final invoice check before the customer reaches the cashier.

Who built DealerNavi?

DealerNavi is built by Verbeck Labs from 30 years of fixed ops experience. The examples on this site were captured from live repair orders and appointments in a working dealership service department, with identifiers redacted.

Setup and fit

Which DMS and scheduling software does DealerNavi work with?

DealerNavi can be programmed to read any DMS or scheduling software, because it works on top of the screen instead of inside one system. Get in touch, tell us which systems your store uses, and we’ll set DealerNavi up for your screens.

Where does the guidance appear?

On the screens your team already has open. Cards appear beside the appointment while the BDC books the visit, and on the repair order during write-up, warranty preparation and the final invoice check. A status strip shows whether the RO is reading, has issues or is clean, and employees can search the recall and TSB knowledge from the RO.

How does the team get set up?

Each advisor and BDC computer is set up once and enrolled with a one-time store code. Managers sign in from a browser to open the reports and add campaign notes.

Can DealerNavi fit the way our department works?

Every dealership service department works a little differently. DealerNavi is built to adapt quickly, with guidance and features shaped around your team’s workflow and the areas you want to improve. Managers can also add their own instructions to campaign cards, such as ordering parts first or reserving a loaner.

Where does the guidance come from?

The cards are built from the manufacturer’s recall and TSB documents, loaded by Verbeck Labs. Managers can add notes to campaign cards for their team, and an unknown campaign code alerts a manager.

Repair orders and warranty

What does DealerNavi check on the repair order?

Campaign and recall eligibility, wrong or missing operation codes, the pay type on each line and on rentals, missing rental agreement numbers, parts that are missing, superseded or on the wrong line, flagged hours against book time, warranty lines missing required claim details, bulletins that apply but are not named in the correction, factory prepaid maintenance requirements, and advertised coupons at the final invoice. See every check by category.

How does DealerNavi help with warranty claims?

For supported repairs, the warranty card shows which claim details are complete and which are missing, with cause and correction text ready to copy onto the repair order. Reusable templates cover the warranty repairs your team sees repeatedly. The goal is to fix gaps while the RO is open, because once the RO is closed and the car is gone, it is final. Read the pre-close warranty checklist.

Can DealerNavi help with warranty audits?

In a warranty audit, the manufacturer compares the repair orders with the claims that were submitted, and a single audit can cost a dealership anywhere from $10,000 to hundreds of thousands of dollars in chargebacks. DealerNavi helps your team catch missing warranty details while the RO is still open, which can help reduce avoidable claim denials and later audit chargebacks. DealerNavi cannot guarantee claim payment or audit outcomes.

Does DealerNavi replace service advisors or the warranty administrator?

DealerNavi works alongside your team. It gives good employees another set of eyes on the details that are easy to miss under pressure, so claims reach the warranty office more complete and the service manager can see which issues keep coming back.

Customer experience

How can DealerNavi help service CSI and CXI scores?

Customer experience starts with the appointment. DealerNavi brings campaign guidance, parts requirements and your manager’s notes into the scheduling screen, so the BDC can set realistic timing, explain when an inspection could mean extra days, and check parts before the visit. Fewer surprises at check-in support stronger CSI and CXI scores. Read the CSI and CXI guide.

Training new employees

How does DealerNavi help new BDC agents and service advisors?

New hires learn the job with the rules in front of them. In the BDC, cards show campaign eligibility, parts requirements, what to tell the customer and the manager’s notes while the appointment is booked, so a new agent can set the right expectations from the first call. At the advisor desk, cards point out the wrong pay type, a missing operation code or missing warranty claim details on the open RO, with cause and correction text ready to copy. New employees build good habits on real appointments and repair orders, experienced staff catch oversights, and managers can see which issues keep coming back and focus their coaching.

For service managers

What can the service manager see?

Corrections made while repair orders were still open, grouped by customer experience, dealership revenue, rework and audit exposure; open ROs with outstanding flags; recurring issues by advisor for coaching; and weekly trends that compare the weeks before and after a focus. The manager screens on this site use sample data. See the manager’s reports.
